Sydney, our adorable almost-two-year-old, says the darndest things. Here are a few to get you smiling:
At dinner she rubbed sour cream all over her mouth and said, "I'm Santa Claus! Ho Ho Meeerry Kisssmas!!"
One evening I was cutting her fingernails and as I went to throw away the pile of nail clippings she said in a desperate voice, "Don't throw away Mommy! I want to eat them!"
Eliza was teasing her extra badly one day and Sydney scolded her by saying, "Go to Time Out Liza. Right now and I mean it!" (she even did the finger pointing action)
After I ate everything on my plate at lunch, Sydney said, "I'm soooooo proud of you Mommy!"
After I totally knocked her flat on her back on the hard cold cement with the car door (I swear I didn't know she was behind me), she said in her shaky hiccuppy after-cry voice, "I'm okay Mommy. I'm tough. Are you okay?" (She's always looking out for others)
We were at a sit-down restaurant and Sydney pointed at a bearded Man sitting accross from us and said in a loud voice, "Looky Mommy, it's Jesus!"
Ya just gotta love kids cuz I sure love my Syd!

That last one cracked me up. LOL
Reading those made my day!
Thanks so much for posting those Jami - she is so darling - and entertaining! I think my favorite was, "Don't throw away Mommy! I want to eat them!" I can't wait until Eli is talking!
Sydney is so darn cute. I love reading the funny things that she says and does! What a cute girl.
I loved this blog-Sydney is the cutest little girl! She has grown up so fast with you guys being out there in WV. The eating fingernails was way funny-what a joy!
Aaaa. I just love Sid! I got teary eyed when I read the one where she was trying to so tough and then asked how you were. So...again, I realized I had doctor visits for Owen this week and won't make it out. I'm so mad that I can't seem to find a time to get out there! Good news though, the urologist found Owen's you know what, but it looks like he will have to surgery to remove it. My poor boy!
Jamie, your girls are darling! I found you on Kim's blog. Wanted to say "hi"!
Hope you are feeling better.Congrats on having a boy so exciting!
